Owner & Operator Victor Sladey

Victor Sladey purchased Vortex Blasting and Breaking in 2021. Victor is a 3rd generation logger on the Sunshine Coast and worked in the logging industry for 19 years. Vic has many years of experience in road construction, including drilling and blasting operations in the forestry industry. When the opportunity arose, he decided to switch career paths and pursue residential blasting.

A team you can count on

Victor has put together a well-trained and established crew. Team members have obtained their Urban Blasting Certifications, Level 1 First Aid, and are Worksafe BC certified.

This stellar team has over 20 years of combined experience and the company is fully insured.
